One of the three guardians of human life.  The Caomhnóir are bestowed with the power of The Draiocht to help fight the Maraigh, the greatest of all human enemies.

Who are the Caomhnóir?

Kenley, Trigg, and Bryn are the newest Caomhnóir. The Caomhnóir are always triplets with the selection of the lineage made prior to brith. Kenley, Trigg and Bryn are the third set of triplets for the Madigan family, born to the youngest of triplets (Slaney, Greer, and Egan) who were also born to the youngest of triplets (Rowan, Fergus, and Maella).

How are the Caomhnóir select?

Cermait, one of the Leaders of The Council of Múin, selects the family lineage who will birth triplets and become the next generation of Caomhnóir.

How does one become a Caomhnóir?

The process of transformation is called the Athrú. With the power of the Draíocht surging through the body, it results in the person experiencing symptoms which mimic severe food poisoning or the flu. It is tradition that one does not experience the Athrú until they reach the age of eighteen and the process generally takes over fifty hours.  But for the Madigans, the transformation came two days early and lasted a little over twelve hours.

What is the Múin?

The Múin is selected by the Council of the Múin to guide the Caomhnóir. They are charged with the task to teach the Caomhnóir how to use thier power and provide the knowledge they need in order to fight the Maraigh.

Who is the Múin?

Caelen was selected to be the Múin of Kenley, Trigg and Bryn. He came into existence, with full awareness and intelligence, the moment Kenley was conceived and her fate was sealed as being given the choise to become the next Caomhnóir. He has been connected to Kenley, Trigg and Bryn's Anams (souls) for their entire lives, granting him intimate knowledge of who they are.
